GIG: SABINA DDUMBA
It seemed that Sabina Ddumba was touring constantly this summer, but now autumn is here and she shows no sign of stopping. She’s heading back on the road across Sweden this October and November. It kicks off with two shows at Dramaten, the first being this Sunday starting at 20:00.

Oct 21, 20:00-21:30, Dramaten

CLUB: HOKUS POKUS
Hokus Pokus is a club night that started off in Gothenburg a few years ago, aiming to promote female and non-binary DJ talents within the club scene. After success in Gothenburg, they’re now in Stockholm too. They’re back at Laiki for their second Stockholm outing this weekend. In the driver’s seat this time is Hannah Prescott, who Hokus Pokus promises to offer: ” rhythms with afro drums, playful tunes, deep house, soulful vocals and fat basslines”. She’s joined by resident Christine Friberg.

Oct 20, 21:00-01:00, Laika

ART: JOAKIM OJANEN
Bonniers Konsthall’s initiative, Konstnärer visar konst, is based on a pretty simple idea – who better to show you around an exhibition than an artist? This weekend, the artist Joakim Ojanen, who specialises in ceramics, as well as painting and sculpture, leads a tour of Bonniers’ current group exhibition NyMaterialism. It takes place for an hour, between 14:00 and 15:00. In Swedish.

Oct 20, 14:00-15:00, Bonniers Konsthall

HALLOWEEN: GRÖNA LUND
Look, is it Halloween yet? No, in fact it’s not even close. But that hasn’t stopped Gröna Lund from getting in on the act early. They’ve put on their usual houses of horrors across the park to celebrate the season, with this year’s repertoire of spooks and goofs even including a haunted boat. Enter at your own risk, or something along those lines.
Oct 20, 21, 11:00-22:00, Gröna Lund

SALE: APLACE
APLACE’s boutique on Norrlandsgatan opened almost exactly four years ago, and now it’s time to say goodbye. The Norrlandsgatan outlet is closing down on October 28, with APLACE’s operations continuing from their outlet at BRUNO Gallerian, second-hand store Pearl at Hornstull and boutique in Malmö. They’ve decided to have a clearing sale until October 28. There’ll be up to 80% off on clothing until the closing date at the end of the month. That sale continues this weekend.
