Kedr Livanskiy

Russia’s music scene has been thriving over the last decade or so, producing everything from trap to avant garde pop to unique electronica, and now one of the country’s fastest-rising stars is finally coming to Stockholm. Across two albums and an EP, Kedr Livanskiy (it means Lebanese cedar – her real name is Yana Kedrina) has demonstrated a special mastery of several different genres, from beautifully-sculpted electronica on songs like Ariadna to the hypnotic club music of Sky Kisses. Her new album Your Need is already on of the year’s best, and after touring around Europe she’s finally making her Stockholm debut at Trädgården on Thursday.

Club night The Juice Factory is Livanskiy’s host on Thursday, and she’ll be joined on the line-up by Gothenburg producer Ishi Vu and Glocken Gold. Entry is free.

Jul 18, 18:00-03:00, Trädgården
