A pop double-bill is coming to Scalateatern this weekend. Headlining is Hannah Smallbone, as this is officially a release fest for her debut single. Smallbone has been playing a few shows over the past few months, but her first official release only landed on June 7. Like U is a fizzing pop song, with a sort of easy swing to it, like a cleaner, more sober Tove Lo vibe. Joining her in Scalateatern’s cellar is pop duo I Am Karate, who’ve been gigging here and there this spring as they prepare to get writing their debut album. Tickets are 100kr, and available only on the door.
