Jonatan Leandoer Håstad, aka Yung Lean, is spreading his creative wings even further this September. He’s bringing NEAR, a collaboration with choreographer Eleanor Bauer and the Cullbergbaletten dance group to Drameten. So what is NEAR? The idea is that it’s a concert that bleeds into dance, art and film. Yung Lean is onstage with 12 dancers from Cullbergbaletten, for a performance that draws from both his older and newer music, and his work with the visual artist and musician Frederik Valentin. Bauer, who works in the interzone between dance, art and film, helms the piece and brings all the diverse elements together. It plays for two dates in September.
