Norwegian group Tuvaband, the musical project of Tuva Hellum Marschhäuser, have long been known for their ability to stun, with their debut album Soft Drop showcasing her spectacular voice and spectral, captivating songs. On her second outing, I Entered The Void, written after a spell of self-imposed isolation, things have changed. Soft Drop’s ghostly minimalism is gone, replaced by roaring guitars and power as Tuvaband grow into a rough, tough art-rock band. What remains the same is the spellbinding quality of the songs. They come to Stockholm for the first time in February, for a show at Obaren.
