Country and folk underwent a kind of revival around the turn of the decade, as younger musicians started to bring a new authenticity to the genre after years of it being locked in tacky, clichéd stagnancy. Lissie, full name Elisabeth Corrin Maurus, was at the forefront of that movement with her debut album Catching a Tiger. Several years on in her career, she’s now just released her fourth album, Castles, inspired by her upping sticks from California to Iowa and a more rural environment. She comes to Gröna Lund in July.
