French TV, 1978 – Jacques Lacan is asked a question and responds: “I always tell the truth, but not all of the truth”. That quote provides the title for the artist Dora Garcia’s new exhibition (I Always Tell The Truth) at Bonniers Konsthall, and also for a text which will be included in the exhibition. Also included are film clips, drawings and performances, exploring the idea of truth and information in the age of fake news. The exhibition also includes her new film Segunda Vez, which looks at the work of Argentinian writer Oscar Masotta.
