Detroit Stockholm is a non-profit organization that acts as a platform for contemporary art and collaboration. The studio hosts 25 working spaces for artists, photographers, designers and creatives of various kinds.
On Friday, April 5 a group exhibition and fundraiser for Detroit Stockholm – the first in a series of events – is taking place at the studio on Roslagsgatan 21 from 1600.
Welcome 2 Detroit is a unique opportunity to buy affordable artwork by resident artists. Live events will take place with performance pieces and music acts. With work available in a variety of styles and media, there will be something to appeal to everyone.
The event also offers a unique opportunity to acquire original work by young and talented artists at affordable prices. Music will play and there will be a special performance by Prosa Debata at 20.30.
At 2200 the celebration and exhibition will move from Detroit to the little bar at Riche, Birger Jarlsgatan 4.
