To be honest, no-one would really have seen Viagra Boys as one of the breakout successes of the Swedish music scene of the last couple of years, if only for the name (my PR spells it V*agra Boys in their mails to avoid the wrath of the spam filter). But the dirtbag rock troupe, who play and write with a sense of theatrical self-awareness and satirical winking, have become Pitchfork favourites, and proved themselves on international stages with their tours over the past year. They’ll bring a little grit and grease to Trädgården.
