Bedroom pop is one of the musical movements of our time, and when Norwegian Jakob Ogawa first emerged he was definitely grouped in with that wave, for this hazy productions released via Soundcloud as much as anything else (a collab with Clairo, one of the genre’s other stars, also helped). Since then his sound has moved on, more into the zone of late-night, low-light, Connan Mockasin-esque lizard-pop. Stockholm gets a chance to see the rising star live when he plays at Obaren in May.
