Ok, New Year’s Eve is probably, in the crunch of it all, a pretty overrated night out, one that looks better on Instagram than it ever can in real life. But hey, it’s a big and important night out either way. And so to help you optimise your NYE planning, we’ve put together a guide to everything (obviously not everything, but you get the idea) happening in Stockholm on Monday.

Label Love Potion takes over Under Bron on NYE, with Mike Huckaby and Polanco downstairs and Call Super, Julia Wallin and Cindy Norrby upstairs. HNNY and friends are playing in the ambient Nature Bar.

Indie-pop darlings Junior Brielle lead the new year’s celebrations at Strand this year, playing live to wrap up a breakthrough 2018 for the duo.

BOQUERIA
Hip-hop features strongly on the menu for Boqueria’s NYE celebrations, with the iconic Ametist leading the DJ line-up. They’ve also booked in Evyn Redar, Kaleb Seifu, Shewit, Gorgeous and Rikki Ross of Yes! Supreme Soundsystem.

SÖDRA TEATERN
All of the Södran house is open for New Year’s, with every section hosting its own party. Tony Zoulias and Taro & Myggan bring dance to the Södra Bar, Gago Cuk and DJ Kola take over Champagnebaren and DJ Pecut is at Mosebacke Etablissement. For the hungry, there’s also a seafood buffet meal with champagne on Mosebacke available, with servings at 17:00 and 20:30.

FÄRGFABRIKEN
If you like the idea of really going all-in on one venue for your NYE, then head out to Färgfabriken, where Joel & Bergman have teamed up with clothing brand New Black to transform the art hall into a party venue for the night. DJ Crona, Evyn Redar, Isaak Kabenge, Eddy Njoroge, YAHEARDME, Diegoxmami, Alex Urombi and Tina Misaghi all DJ, and you can celebrate the new year with views over the Liljeholmen water. Tickets clock in at just over 400kr.

STOCKHOLM UNDER STJÄRNORNA
Then again, if you’re looking for a great view for NYE, you might be best served by heading to Stockholm Under Stjärnorna, where the rooftop bar will be sure to provide one of the best places in the city to get a 360 degree view of the fireworks when the clock ticks over to 2019.

KVARTERET
If you’re looking for dancehall, head down to Kvartertet, where Mike Yangstar DJ Patuu, Rut Unruly and Keon will be blasting it in Fristaden, tickets costing 250kr.
