Virtual reality will only come into play more and more in the future, and if you’re interested in or looking for a crash course in the world of digital immersion the VR Sci fest is probably the best place to go. Now returning for its second edition, VR Sci Fest is Europe’s only non-profit, free-entry VR festival in Europe. The festival features talks, demonstrations and info-sessions on the world of VR, and this year’s theme is Virtual City, focussing on how technology interacts with our everyday reality and brings “us ideas and solutions to some of the most pressing challenges of humanity in areas of architecture, transport, industry 4.0, ICT, health, media, AI, and arts”. It runs in May at KTH and other venues.
