BRIS is Barnens Rätt i Samhället (Children’s Rights In Society), an organisation that works to protect and support the rights of children. Every year they enlist the help of the famous as ambassadors or ‘BRIS Idols’, and this year’s group have just been announced. In collaboration with Canon, BRIS’ 2017 idols are musician Miriam Bryant, handball player and activisit, Linnéa Claeson, Youtuber Thomas Sekelius, Muay Thai champion Sofia Olofsson, and the brothers Emil and Daniel Norberg, also YouTubers.

These idols will be collaborating with BRIS on a number of campaigns, one of which is an exhibition at Gallerian. The idols’ ‘classic’ photo will be on display along with their school photos, along with video clips where they recount experiences and struggles from their own childhoods, which shows that even the biggest stars were small once. The exhibition is on display around Gallerian until Nov 12.
