The Cords & Co want to wrap the world in corduroy. They say it’s the first brand to focus completely on the textured material, and they aren’t starting small. Two Stockholm stores have already opened their doors, one at Stureplan and one on Södermalm, but soon you will find the Stockholm based-brand established in London, New York, L.A and Paris too. This isn’t about conjuring up a retro 70s vibe. The design feels contemporary and most of our favourite denim styles can be found, but of course in corduroy. As expected the collection includes trousers, skirts and jackets but one of the more original and exciting elements is the corduroy hoody.
