Gig Highlight: Sudakistan At Debaser Strand

Posted January 27, 2017 in Music

We’re big fans of Sudakistan here at TS, and we met them a couple of years after the release of their debut LP Caballo Negro. It’s been a few months since they last played live, but the band are returning to the stage this Saturday for a gig at Debaser Strand. We caught up with then via mail to learn all about it:

So it’s been a while since we heard from Sudakistan, what have you guys been up to in that time?

Since our last gig we have just started to write new songs. Rehearsing as much as we can and try to be productive. We are also planning how the next record will be.

Are you excited to be playing live again, for the first time in a few months? What should we expect from the show?

Yeah! We are very excited. We have done a lot of gigs during the last year so after a few months way, we really start to feel the absence. So this Saturday will be really fun, with a couple of new songs as well. Miguel Regalado will make some really cool visuals and we are looking forward to a big fiesta.

What are your plans for 2017? Is there a new record on the way?

The plan is to make a new record and right now we are really focused on finishing the ideas/songs we are working on. We also plan to have a big release party and tour a lot!
PS: Hope to see all of you, tomorrow Saturday!!!!
