Berns is firing up its atmosphere and kitchen by welcoming Malaysian Chef Sabri into their dining quarters. The Stockholm landmark celebrating their 150th anniversary has decided to team up with Visit Malaysia to bring you the best of Malaysian tastes. The cuisine of this Asian country is known for its flourishing flavors and its interesting take on otherwise simple food.

Chef Sabri is recognized for his unique food philosophy and globally inspired dishes, that he perfects everyday serving as head chef at five-star hotel restaurant, The Royal Chulan in Kuala Lumpur. He is also known for being a judge on Malaysia’s Masterchef and has been awarded the prize of both Chaîne des Rôtisseurs and Chef of the Year Regional Asia 2011-2013.

The food booming in flavor with the likes of peanuts, sauces, and mouth watering spices will begin with dishes such as chicken satay or scallops, move onto salmon or lamb, and end with heavenly pastry wrapped warmed banana coupled with coconut ice cream. If that’s not a fiesta for you taste buds, we’re not sure what is.

This Malaysian takeover will be happening at Berns from 21st to 27th of November.
