You might connect the blackboard with screechy nails and middle school, but now Artipelag wants to give you a different perspective. In the new art show, the art space in the archipelago is displaying how the balckboard has been used as a teaching method for tons of modernist artists.

It all started off with Rudolf Steiner, who used the board to teach. The idea then inspired artists such as Joseph Beuys, leading us to modern artists such as Tacita Dean and Christian Marclay. Now, we get to see more of the work at Artipelag, until January next year.
