If you’ve been to Nationalmuseet recently, you’ve probably seen their collection of art from the Swedish and international achieves dating back from the 1500s. But what if you could get a little deeper what’s going on in the photos? That’s the aim of the museum’s collaboration with Stadsteatern, Transformationer, where actors will help assist in bringing four works from the museum’s collection to life, and exploring the body ideals, poses and hierarchies they contain. Somewhere between a performance and a tour of the museum’s collection, it runs in April and May.
Transformationer, Nationalmuseet, opens Apr 23
