New Balance’s  997 range dates back to 1991, but after almost 30 years in the game and having gained a reputation among sneaker fans over than time, they’re now due a facelift. New Balance is now bringing out then 997H range, which includes a modernised version of the sneaker as well as a clothing range, with the emphasis on unisex design.

The new range will be launched in association with the platform ‘Fearlessly Independent’, and fronted by young Swedish artists Felix Sandman and Luana Kiara.

Hanna Löfberg of New Balance says: “There are many talented individuals in Sweden who drive conversation, culture and development forward. Through our launch of the 997H we are building up our collaboration with young and fearless figures, not just within sport, but now also withing creativity and music. It’s a first step in our brand re-imagining, and we have big ambitions going forward”.

The 997 will be launched in multiple colour options, along with two tracksuits in unisex sizes, and are available from outlets like Sneakers Point at Sergelstorget.
