Happening now is Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair, which takes place from February 7 to February 11. This year’s trend expo is put together with the grand dame of Swedish stylists, interior decorators and bloggers Lotta Agaton, who promises a vast array of unexpected combos of materials and furniture. Contrast is the name of the game. Furthermore, this year’s edition illuminates the ongoing trend erasing the border between work and play, home and office. This year’s guest of honour is Spanish artist Jamie Haydon, who has made a name for himself as a prolific and playful designer of both individual objects and interiors infused with humour and ingenuity.

Last but not least, design studio Note and Isabella Morrone, head chef at Mother, create the pop-up restaurant for this year’s fair. Note has created a space that is visually strong, warm and inviting rather than smart and practical. The space will carry a colour palette ranging from soft pink to deep burgundy and the open space is compartmentalized through various shapes and forms
