Busy restaurateur and chef Henrik Nordström has opened Penny & Bill, an open kitchen and bar venue with lots of interaction between staff and patrons.
Penny & Bill serves appetizer-type dishes alongside classic fish and shellfish creations and raw food. The big attraction, and unique to the scene, is the ‘foodtail’ (food meets cocktail) concept. Instead of ubiquitous wine pairings, Nordstrom and co have put together a cocktail menu to go with the various foods on the menu.
