Quesadilla

Why:
Quesadillas are one of the most simple and versatile snacks around, as it is prepared and cooked in a jiffy, and can be stuffed with whatever you have at hand or want to get rid of in the refrigerator.

How:
The quesadilla is a ‘turnover’ made with fresh tortilla, which can be also described as a flat bread. Various ingredients can be stuffed inside the fresh tortilla. Fillings can be as simple as cheese and peppers, but various vegetables, potatoes and meats such as pollo, cerdo, and camaron can also be included. After the turnover is filled, it is toasted or fried on a hot griddle until it turns golden.

Where:
Really anyone can make a quesadilla, but if you consider yourself to be one of those kitchen-illiterate individuals, head over to Dos Gringos in the Ringen shopping mall. Here, chefs Melker Andersson and Danyel Couet are making what are being called the best quesadillas in town, with an option containing wegme for those who prefer theirs vegetarian.
