Shawn Stussy was a California surfboard maker who used to scrawl his signature on the boards he made. Later that signature spread as a logo onto t-shirts and caps, before Stussy leapt into the clothing market full-time and founded the label Stüssy in the 80s. Starting off as surfwear before becoming popular in the streetwear and hip-hop scenes, Stüssy is now one of the big brands of the US’ west coast.

The west coast and England’s Northamptonshire have now come together, as Stüssy and Dr. Martens have teamed up for  a new collection, a Stüssy take on the Penton Loafer. The shoes feature leather uppers and faux-crocodile panelling, and come in four colours; black, cherry red, green and white.

The collection comes to the Dr.Martens boutique on Katarina Bangatan on June 29.
