Cinema Made In Italy Brings Italian Cinema To Stockholm

Organised by the Istituto Luce Cinecittà and the Italienska Kulturinstitutet, Cinema Made In Italy is a a four day festival bringing some of the classics of Italian cinema to Stockholm’s screens. This year is the second edition of the festival, and it makes its home at Saga-biografen on Kunsgatan for showings of seven films across the festival.

The festival opens on April 19 (Thursday), with a showing of The Place by Paolo Genovese. With a script co-written by Genovese, the film’s plot is built around the appearance of a mysterious man in a restaurant, who starts to play strange power games with the guests. That film opens at 18:00 on Thursday, and you can check out the full programme below.

April 20 – Rainbow: A Private Affair by Paolo Taviani.
April 20– Stories Of Love That Cannot Belong To This World by Francesca Comencini.
April 21– Cinderella The Cat by Alessandro Rak, Ivan Cappiello, Marino Guarnieri & Dario Sansone.
April 21– Pure Hearts by Roberto de Paolis.
April 22– I Can Quit Whenever I Want: Ad Honorem by Sydney Sibilia.
April 22– Love And Bullets by Antonio Manetti.
