The Best Sport Bars in Stockholm

Posted July 2, 2017 in More

There is definitely something special about sport bars. Not only is it a place to quench your thirst, it’s also a place to enjoy an unbeatable atmosphere, meet likeminded people and make memories for life. Whether you’re there to catch a game you couldn’t score tickets to, keep an eye on your investment on odds betting or just want to partake in the atmosphere created when hundreds of sport fans meet – you’ll find your ideal Stockholm sport bar on this list.

O’Learys – This is definitely Sweden’s take on a sport bar (with some help from America) and also happens to be the most expansive restaurant chain in Sweden. When Swede Jonas Reinholdsson went to visit the states he fell in love with two things – the sport bars and Anne O’Leary. The later accompanied Jonas back to Sweden and shortly thereafter they opened the first of many O’Learys. One thing is for sure – you’ll never be bored at O’Learys Event Center in Stockholm. The amounts of TV’s this place have are too many to count and there is also a huge four-way one right above the bar visible from anywhere. Should the match ever get stale I’m sure you’ll find something else to do, such as bowling, karaoke, pool, shooting simulator, table-tennis, miniature-golf, baseball, shuffleboard, curling… You get the point.

The Crib by Retro – We’re not sure how, but they’ve managed to put combine the traditional looks of a sport bar into a modern version. With excellent food, TV’s of good quality with high visibility from anywhere in the bar and the competitive pricing this is definitely one of the top picks. When you pay 29 SEK for a beer at a modern and stylish bar you know you’ve come to a special place.

Retro Kungsholmen – Part of the same group as The Crib, this bar can also guarantee you a memorable night out. Staying true to the concept of stylish interior with walls completely cladded by TV’s along with delicious food at reasonable prices it’s hard to go wrong with a visit to Retro Kungsholmen. Retro Kungsholmen has a more retro feel compared to The Crib so if that’s your thing then look no further. We’d just go to both though.

Enzo’s – Time to switch it up and move away from the American style to explore the Italian way. Apart from showing the most popular games on one of their many HD TV’s Enzo’s will also hook you up with excellent Italian pizza. Although the feel of the place differs from your normal sport bar the essentials are most certainly there; sport, food and alcohol.
