Interest in beercraft has steadily grown in Stockholm over the past while, to the point that within five years every beer within the city borders will be microbrewed and come with a bearded man to lecture you for five hours about every step of its history. Nöjesguiden’s Ölmässa is the holy grail of beer festivals in the city, a celebration of everything craft-related. Microbreweries from all over Sweden will be exhibiting at the festival. Visitors will be able to sample beers from all of them, as well as excellent food, through purchasing a ticket which will give them a slot to tour the exhibition hall and get to try some of the best beer in Sweden. Nöjesguiden’s Pelle Tamleht says: “I’m looking forward so much to 2018’s ölmässan. We will have twenty or so excited exhibitors, and moreover we have a huge set of surprises planned for this year. In other words, it’s going to be better than ever, and it’s worth keeping in mind that last year’s was great too. For many of our visitors, it’s their first beer fair, and that’s how we want to have it. We like the idea of being an entry point for them to this kind of event, and hopefully they’ll go to many more beer fairs in future”.
